Scouts BSA troops are led by the girls, and supported by adult leadership. Girls in the troop will take positions such as Patrol Leader, and work to develop effective communication & leadership skills. They will be mentored along the way by senior Scouts and adult mentors from the Troop and community.
Troop 73 follows the Boy Scouts of America policy of 2-Deep Leadership, meaning that there will always be two adults present with Scouts. This includes having at least one female leader present for all activities.
Any parents that have their daughter enrolled in Troop 73 will be required to complete this 60-90 minute training prior to starting. Your daughter's emotional and physical safety is paramount.
As a new troop, we will be looking to fill many different volunteer roles in the troop. Each role is unique, and will provide you a opportunity to participate side-by-side with your daughter in the amazing journey towards Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA.
